WHO WE ARE

Our

Mission

To provide every child victim in the state of Vermont, along with their non-offending family members, with friendly and safe regional facilities where allegations of child sexual and physical abuse can be reported and investigated, while appropriate supporting resources and services are being provided.

We are making a difference

one child at a time.

The Vermont Children’s Alliance is a non-profit network of children’s advocacy centers, all of which are committed to working together to improve the way Vermont supports and responds to victims of child abuse and child sexual abuse. Our member programs can be found throughout Vermont and currently serve abused children and their families in almost every single county.

Would you believe that annually over 1,200 new cases of child abuse are helped by Children’s Advocacy Centers in Vermont?

Research tells us that 1 out of 4 girls and 1 out of 6 boys will be sexually abused before their 18th birthdays; 98% of children abused in our state of Vermont know their perpetrator.
